Background

The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development is the primary organization responsible for developing policies intended to promote employment and safe orderly migration for Pakistanis abroad. The Ministry also takes measures for the welfare of Pakistani emigrants and their dependents in Pakistan and coordinates with provincial governments to align national labour laws with Pakistan’s international obligations on labour standards.
